Ok, so today I got my letter about my RA application, and I have not been selected...big surprise there...NOT So I wanted to apply, and then I found it was for Winchester and Sheffield...upperclassmen...so then I didn't want to apply, but I did anyway, just for the hell of it...lol So I basically told them I wanted to work with Freshmen, so there is no surprise that I didn't get it. Plus there were 20 people applying for 2 spots...and I know about 8 of the other people, and I was below them for sure...whatever, I don't care. Now I can apply in the spring for the like 16 spots that will be open, and hopefully get it, and then work with the froshes! YaY! upperclassmen are a pain in the ass...at least here they are...so I am MORE than happy to wait ;p
yup..so that was the fun of my wonderful day!

So Thanksgiving was awesome!! Got to see the family, Uncle Jerry, Aunt Patty, Kevin, Katie, Gma G, Gpa G, Gma S, and Gpa S...We all went up to Kevin & Katie's house for the day. That was fun. Katie and I compared knitting :) and I think I got her hooked on the scarf that I made for her...she is now making them too! And I got a hat pattern from gma for dad, and maybe Brian for Christmas...anyone else want one??...too bad...I don't have enough time! lol Anyway, I gave Katie a bunch of patterns that she can work on them...really Katie do them! they are fun, and come out cool!! ;)
So we had...Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, pizza bread, fruit, rolls, cranberry sauce, veggies, and a lot of other good stuff! Yummy! and for dessert......Blueberry, Pumpkin, or Apple Pie...or all three! Personally I stuck to 2 pieces of the Blueberry Pie, and I got a whole Apple pie to take home, and bring with me and Jess to Peters the other day :)
So Peters, that was fun...Jess and I had a good ride up...but, us being girls, had to stop at the mall first! It was all Jess' idea...really! She had to get something for her mom and bro, so we went. It worked out perfectly, some nice guy pointed to us to let us know that he was just leaving, and he was in a front spot!!! It was awesome!! So we went into Old Navy, and she got her things, and I got a pair of gloves for my bro, and then she showed me fleece blankets that she found, 2 for $10 or 1 for $10, so we each got 2...one for each of our secret santa's for our suites at school, and then the other for whomever. It worked out well...in and out of the mall in about 20 minutes on Black Friday! I think we did well! So then we went up to Peter, made really good time on the highway, and got there...this is where the fun begins! ;) We go in, and then Peter decides on giving the grand tour of the building, and as we get to the top of the stairs, he stops...we are confused as hell, but come to find out...he locked his keys in his room! hehe It was really funny, especially because there is no other RA there! lol Sorry Peter...but I had to tell it! <3 Yeah, so then we played games...90's Trivial Pursuit didn't work out well, but Clue did, and after 6 games of it, and watching the movie, I think I now know a lot about Clue! fun stuff!
So now I just got back from babysitting...I know you are all jealous! Got to sit for Mary Beth, the twins...Alex and Cate, and baby Grace...soooooo much fun! Grace was soooo good, I was really surprised. It was her first time away from her mommy and daddy for a couple of hours, and she was perfect, even ate well for me! I love babysitting, it is a lot of fun getting to play like a 5 year old again! :)
So thats that. I think I am going to go and knit for a while...got to get those hats done! I hope everyone had an AWESOME thanksgiving!!!
Bye-Bye
OH...Emmie, my wonderful psychopath, if you read this, can you give me your school address...thanks!

OK, so I had an awesome weekend with Peter...we did a lot of fun stuff...saw Harry Potter with Eric, and mom & dad...raked leaves :), watched more movies, played games...I got mu butt kicked at cards, rummy, AGAIN!...it was fun though...I think I won the first round! :p
Now I got school again...4 classes, and nothing for them...no reason really to go, except that I am such a good girl that I am going...lol
Going home tomorrow as soon as class gets out! Packing up early, and hoping my car doesn't get ticketed!...then going home, going to gmas and knitting for a while...showing her all the cool stuff I have made, she will be so proud of me!, getting my hair cut...taking the layers out, so like 3-4 inches off the back, not too much damage! then going back home and sleeping, Tagger will be happy to see me if no one else is...Wed I will probably sit for the Greers, fun fun fun, really!, and then dinner for gpas (dad's side) birthday at Olive Garden...Thurs is Turkey Day with the fam, probably going to the WHS football game, then going up to Aunt Patty, Uncle Jerry, Kevin & Katies for dinner with both sets of my gmas & gpas YaY! I can't wait to see everyone! and have some good food...not school food for once! and I am really looking forward to gmas apple pie:) YUMMY! Friday I am going with Jess and maybe Sonia to visit Peter at school, should be a lot of fun! Sat I am not doing anything...yet...at least I don't think I am...I think I will sit for the Greers again at night, but not sure yet...Sunday is church, and then back to school :( for another 2 weeks or so, have finals, and go home again...this time for Xmas and for a MONTH!!!! YaY! :) I am soooooo excited for Christmas this year, it should be a lot of fun!
well I think I am going to go knit some more now :) It is soooo relaxing...anyone who wants to learn let me know!!

I AM GOING TO KILL SOMEONE VERY SOON!!! OMG....this fucking school is pissing me off to no end right now!Last week I go and talk to the head of the CJ department to make sure that I can take the pre-internship class (500 level)...she says yes...you can take the internship stuff whenever you want to get an internship! YaY for me...I had an internship set up, so now I can do it! So I get all excited and sign up for the class...so today I go and see my adviser and he says that I can't take the class now, and to make sure he is right he goes and asks the head of the department, the woman I talked to, and she says he is right...I can't take it!! I took it nicely...but WTF!!! I am sooo fucking pissed I don't even know how to describe it. I worked so fucking hard for the past few weeks getting this together, and now it doesn't even matter for the school...and better yet, I don't know if the PD will still let me intern, now that it isn't for school! I swear if they don't let me intern now I am going to kill that woman...I love her to death in knitting, but I will totally flip...OK...I can't deal with this now...enough of my bitching...I need to nap before I go totally nuts and do something mean...sorry for those of you who read this...but i did warn you.

Ok...so just came back from a nice Veteran's Day celebration flag raising in the Maxcey Quad, but I found it kind of ironic in a way...The men that presented the colors were all army, however they carried the WWII, Korean War, POW-MIA, Navy, Marine, Air Force, and Merchant Marine flags...no Army flag...anyone else think that is a bit weird?? Anyway, it was a nice service, and the men did a great job holding the flags in the wind at their age...they were all probably 65ish at least...and it was really fricken windy!! Overall a great ceremony, and a lot of people showed up for it, so YaY!
ok, going to dinner with Bonnie, and then coming back and watching The Road to El Dorado!

Current Music: 3 doors down
OK, so time for another update...
Last week is finally officially over!! YaY! 3 exams down, and I think that is it until finals! soooo excited for this semester to be over, and for christmas to come! So last week was crazy, and this weekend has been almost the same...I got a Research Proposal to write, an Analytical essay, a pro/con essay on the death penalty, and a forensic psyc paper to write on Ed Gein...crazy/sick guy...so anyway, that is what this weekend is filled with! yippi!
I think I got most of the research paper done, but I don't really care at this point...I am started with the death penalty one, and that is about as far as I have gotten...lol...I have been doing other stuff. Had a lot of cleaning to do, laundry, vacuuming, changing my sheets, cleaning the common room because I have dirty as hell suite-mates!
Went home yesterday for about 30 min, and then off to the Earthplace dinner. That was sooooo much fun! I got to see a bunch of the guys from the summer, Dick, Pete, Dave, Joe, Tully, Gretchen...it was cool. I was sad that Warren, Dick Auber and Sean weren't there. I really wanted to talk to Warren again about all his knots and stuff! That was fun over the summer...every boat trip we would learn knots! but he was in Fl for the winter...Mr. Lucey wasn't there either, in PA for the weekend, but Mr. Hunter was there, so I talked to him for a long time! It was cool to talk to him not as a teacher, but just to talk... Eli was there, that was cool. I got to sit and talk to her and her mom...I heard a lot about the reality of what happened with VB this year...I guess Liptack went a little overboard a bunch of times :( Anyway, the dinner was a lot of fun! I got to see everyone, and Dick gave me and Tully Earthplace shirts...we are soooo special! hehe...Sarah, you should be getting one in the mail at some point.
So that was yesterday, and today I am doing some essays again...see how much I get done this time! hehe...I got an RA group process thingie later...see how that goes, it is supposed to be fun, who knows! At least I know people there. It is funny, ever since I applied, Bobby has been talking to me about stuff...he is like, how is your stuff going...did you get it all in...and on friday he came into the suite to get a paper from Michelle, and she didn't have it...she blew off our mandatory meeting for her bf, who likes 10 mins away, and so she didn't do it there, and then she blew him off again...he was pissed! So he comes into the room, and shuts my door, and starts talking to me about it, asking what I would do...I was like I would tell her that if it wasn't done in 10 min (she was in her room) that I would fine her...that is the way things are done here...she really should have been fined for blowing off the meeting and not telling him, but he wanted to be nice...but being nice can only go so far! So anyway, got that to do today from 4-7...long stuff, and then I got an interview wednesday, and then I wait...I am not expecting to get a position because there are only 2 open, and I know that 43 people picked up applications...not sure how many actually turned them in, but I know some of the people I am up against, so I will just have to wait and see...apply in the spring again if I don't get it now...it is a good experience at least.
OK...enough of my rambling! gotta do some work...and get my laundry, and put it away...go to brunch!...do some more work...go to the group thingie...and hopefully have some free time tonight!
bye-bye y'all

OK....so, a lot has happened in the past week or so since I have updated...but, yeah...not putting all the crap in, so here is the weekend ;p
1. YaY for a great weekend with Peter <3 :) Fun movie, YaY for finally seeing Braveheart! It was really good! not YaY for being beaten at every game we played :(....I totally sucked over the weekend, couldn't play video games, couldn't play cards!....well I guess Peter can win SOMEtimes ;p hehe....
2. YaY for sunday study time....what!?? hell no! Sunday absolutely SUCKED! Studied all freaking day, because I am a procrastinator and didn't read either of my 2 books that I had exams on today....4 chapters each...about 150 pages each!!!! grrrr....sunday stunk!
3. Today went well...I think I aced the first exam (criminal procedure), an easy one, and I am not sure about the second (forensic psychology), but I definitely don't think I failed, so good overall! :) Other than that I sat table...boring...did some paperwork, checked my mail, and just relaxed. I played a Clue mystery game with Mallorie...really interesting ;) Had some fun with the suite-mates, and Bobby...not really appropriate, but fun :) Probably going to take a shower, watch a tv show, and pass out really early! YaY for SLEEP!!!
GONE.

This one is pretty much true for me too! YaY! :)
Get to know yourself better
Your view on yourself:
You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don't like conflict. Because you're so cheerful and fun people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you meet that person.
The seriousness of your love:
Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.
Your views on education
You may not like to study but you have many practical ideas. You listen to your own instincts and tend to follow your heart, so you will probably end up with an unusual job.
The right job for you:
You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.
How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.
What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.
Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

ok, so up early to do some work :( I really hate school sometimes, but I guess when you don't have any work that has to be done it is good to get ahead...Well, that is what I was planning on doing, however, I am not now. Was going to be a good student, and stay at school this weekend, and do a bunch of work on my research papers (yes, paperS...I have 4!) but, now I am going home...later today. Doing a little work, but not as much as planned...and all because of mom! I am going to be a good daughter, and save her from having to sing a solo in church on sunday...although it would be funny as hell to hear about later, I figure I should make her happy. So, I am going home today, going to the girls vb game in stamford...first round FCIACS!!!!! Then going home again, sleeping...ALOT...and going shopping saturday, and church sunday, and probably back here early to do a bit more work. So fun weekend!
Nest week is going to be a pain...no exams or anything, but I have a lot of busy work to do, and Monday night is shot because of Halloween/Haunted House! So after a long week of busy work, I am definitely staying at school nest weekend! Got a hugh exam on monday the 7th, the 4 research papers, and a bunch of other little crap that I have to get done...It sucks, I would much rather be doing something fun, but I have to do the work...The exam is going to be hugh, and that will probably take up much of my time :(
Yea, so this is probably it for another week or so...BYE!

YaY! for giving blood today :) It makes me feel sooo good to know that I am actually helping someone by laying on a bed for 10 min. Actually it only took me 6 min 45 sec to give my pint...the nurse, Theresa, was sooo surprised that "such a little girl could give blood so quick!"...hehe...little girl! YEAH RIGHT! I guess I got her! lol Well, so after she said that I started thinking...is it really good that I can bleed that fast?? I asked her what she thought, and all she could say was "well, try not to cut yourself!" I was like, thanks!
It was actually fun giving blood today. Delta Chi ran it, and they are cool guys, and I also had a first timer next to me...FUN! She was sooo nervous, it was really cute :) So I talked to her while she gave to take her mind off it...her bf was there with her, but he can't stand the sight of needles, so he wasn't much help! (He said he "didn't do" needles! I was like wtf does that mean! WIMP!!) So she was fun...Theresa (nurse) put the band on her arm to put pressure to show the vein, and she was like...that feels tingly! I was like...yea!...it is partially cutting off your circulation...that is what happens! hehehe...Fun stuff! So I got some crappy OJ after, and some yummy cookies, and some AWESOME stickers ;p, and a GIVEBLOOD bracelet...like the livestrong ones...YaY! Free Stuff!...lol

Two in a row!! hehehehehehe
hehe....ok, so today I thought was going to start out well! I wake up at around 730, and get ready, go to breakfast, have my usual egg & cheese, and they had strawberry yogurt :) So that was AWESOME!! lol So anyway, then I got to my Ethics class...I mean my 10 minute meeting that I have with the prof to go over my research paper topic 1 on 1! I haven't done that since I was 10! It was really weird, but because of it we don't have class at all this week, so I really don't mind! :) So I do that, and help out a friend with her research methods class...she is totally lost! Then it is time for Criminal Procedure, I go to that, and I learn all about searches...again...but this time it is fun! We learn about what the cops can and can't do in college! For example...in a state school, the cops have to abide by the constitution because they are state run, and we have rights with the state, but in a public school like mine they don't! We are private, and therefore have no constitutional rights with the school! Crazy huh!!?? I have been wondering why...for example...Peter isn't allowed to go into his residents rooms, but our RA's can...and there is the answer! His residents all have rights in the school, and apparently I don't! That doesn't seem fair!
Anywho...so that was really cool! Then I got to table for LAE again...fun fun fun...but! there was a candy apple making table across from us, so I made one!! SOOOOOOO GOOD!!! It was awesome, nice, warm, gooey, caramel and a granny apple...YUMMY! Then I had to write a fricken essay...due today...YaY for procrastination!!!...well, it worked last time for this class, so hopefully it will work again ;p Got that done, and then had to go to class...agian...NOT...hehe, class was canceled! YaY! lol, so I had time off, and I used it to knit...fun stuff...;) Then class again....:(...didn't want to go. We took a midterm last class, and I didn't think I did so well, but I guess I was wrong because I got a 96!! YaY, and that is without the curve that he said he was going to give us...not sure how much yet, but I got the highest grade in the class, so I should make out quite well with it! :)
Got back from that class, and I knitted some more...and taught my suite-mates how. Today they went to the store and bought stuff to learn how to knit...boy was that interesting! They bought the right needles that I told them to get, but they got funky yarn...not good stuff for beginners, so I had to give them some of mine...it was really funny though. Bonnie seemed to get it at first, but then she messed up, and I have NO IDEA what the heck she did! Mallorie is a lefty, and couldn't learn righty, so I had to learn lefty...funny stuff, but in the end I was doing better lefty than she was! I guess it will just take some time......
Yeah, so I finished my first knitting project :) It came out really well! You will all get to see it later (Katie & Peter, I think you know what it is...one down, more to go) Anyway, fun stuff!
OK, so after writing and doing nothing at the computer for like 20 min, I think I am finally ready to pass out...got another long day tomorrow....2 boring classes, one with an essay due, giving blood between them, resting after them, and knitting after that. Possibly going home, but not sure yet...got a 3 day weekend, and only hw to do here...not much incentive to stay! Plus the VB girlies are playing in the FCIACS friday @ Stamford, so I will probably go see them kick some ASS!...and my mom is the only women singing in church on sunday, so I will probably be the good daughter I am and sing with her...maybe...:) That way she could never sat that I don't do anything for her! hehe...jk Yeah, I will probably go.........So actually going this time.....BYE-BYE!

YaY! So I had an awesome weekend :) Friday, went and got Peter, then went to Wilton for a night with Jess and Sonia! Soooo much fun! We made dinner and dessert...Peter made the pasta, and sauce, Jess made the meatballs, and Sonia and I made the rolls, and the dessert (Chocolate Raspberry Brownies) It all turned out sooo good :) So we made dinner, and talked a lot, something we haven't been able to do in a while...and then we watched 2 movies...first was Lethal Weapon, then The Princess Bride. Peter and I wanted Lethal Weapon the most...Sonia and Jess hadn't seen it...Jess was against it, but Sonia wanted to see it so we won! and then we watched The Princess Bride, which Sonia hadn't seen!! She is crazy not to have seen it by now, but whatever, now she has! She was soo cute watching the movies though...scarred in Lethal Weapon, and giggling in The Princess Bride...hehe...
So that was friday...and then saturday Peter and I went to UNH because I had to work a VB game, and I thought it was going to be fun...sit together, and I could tell him how the game worked, as I was doing score/libero...but then coach, aka, the bitch, tells him that he can't sit there! I thought I was going to kill her! I was like, the refs don't care...they love me...and they would have said something if it mattered, but anyway, he and to sit in the stands all alone...I was soooo pissed! grrrrrr So the game went...they lost...and then we went to my room for a min, and headed back to wilton. Met my grandparents at wal-mart on the way back to get something...can't say what now :), and then just hung out at my house. Pretty much just rested... Then went out to Applebees :), and a movie, Flightplan! Really good! Got back at like 2 am, and passed out!
Sunday we went to church...YaY! hehe...that was fun...or at least I thought it was :) Had some food there, and talked, and then went back home, and rested/watched Lethal Weapon 4...Grandparents interrupted bringing over bird seed, and then again because my grandma left her purse at our house! lol fun stuff Then mom, dad and Brian came home...we all talked for a while, Peter kicked my butt at Rummy...again!...and then we left
Going back to Eastern was fun!...84 was soooo backed up, so we got off in danbury, and drove around...wend up a road, turned onto 25...and then Peter knew where we were and got us back onto the highway in Middletown! YaY for him knowing where to go...I would have been TOTALLY lost! ;) so...got back to eastern and made pizza for dinner, played a little sword fighting on xbox...Peter kicked my butt this week :(...and then I headed back to UNH :(
Now back to all the school work :( sooo boring compared to the weekend...but!...I don't have ethics class this week (W/F 830), or Interpersonal Relations W @1 YaY!!! I get some free time!!! Got a lecture to go to tomorrow for extra credit, got to table for LAE today and wed, give blood thurs, write a paper for thurs, pick a paper topic for ethics and research methods this week...and READ! fun fun fun!.....NOT! So I get to do work this week :( damn....I was hoping for time off...to knit...and relax...and get my mind/sanity back...but I guess that will have to wait till next week....maybe....

OK...so this weekend was GREAT until the ride home...
So I start out on Rt 66, and get on RT 6, and I see a cop stopped in the middle of my lane. There are cars coming in the other lane, so I stop and wait...I noticed that he stopped because some kids hit a deer :( So I start driving past, and I see the cop standing over the deer, it is still alive, but definitely hurt because it isn't moving...so, just as I am almost past, the cop pulls out his gun, and fires 1 shot, and then 2 quick shots at the deer!:( It scarred the shit out of me. I know they are allowed, or supposed to kill them to put them out of their misery, but I would have thought that he would have at least made sure that there was no one nearby, I mean I was like 20 feet from him, close enough to still see the flash from the gun through my rear-view...So it really freaked me out...and then I felt really bad for the deer:( It isn't like the deer did anything to deserve that!...poor little girl...and she was little...
So now I am back at school...sick...I felt a little sick when I was with Peter on duty sat night, but I felt better after laying down for a little, and then felt perfect in the morning again, and all yesterday. But then I wake up this morning and I am all nauseous again:(damn! So I went to breakfast, had a little cereal...the milk was a bad idea...then came back and rested before class at 10, went to class...got my exam back, 100% YaY so that was a happy thing :) ...it counts 30% of my final grade!...so then came back, fell asleep, and went to class at 1, then came back stuck in a movie, and rested for a while. I had a group meeting for a project at 4, but that was quick, and then I did laundry, and rested some more...
Overall it has been a very uneventful day, but at least I am feeling better after it. I think I have had more soda to drink today that I have in the past year!...Dr. Mom's brilliance saying that soda helps with a sick stomach because of the carbonation...really I am not fond of soda, and thought that I would be even worse with it, but it worked! YaY...moms are right about some things!
K, so now I am just sitting at the computer...checking my 4 days worth of emails....a lot!...and resting some more...gotta feel good tomorrow because I have to study for a midterm that I have wednesday night...OH...and I saw my roommate today! She had to drop off some of her summer stuff, and take some winter stuff with her. I think it is the sixth time I have seen her all semester...it was really weird
OK...so enough of this stuff...going back to email checking, and maybe playing some internet games...and resting!

so today was a fun day...really :) I got up early to study for my scientific methods exam, and went to the cafe with Kat...so...no studying got done. Talking to Kat was soooo much more fun than studying. It really didn't matter though because the exam was all on math and science stuff...easy! It was finding the mean, median, mode, range, variance, standard deviation, and graphing...line, bar, histograms, regular ones...Like I said EASY! So I took the whole class time for the exam because it was fricken long, and because I like to check everything over 3 times before I hand it in...really it was easy though, just long as hell...
So then I came back to my room and sat and did nothing for an hour...YaY for free time :) Then I went to Nature of Science...boring as ever, and then ALD meeting...boring too...and then another little break. I didn't really do anything again...just relaxed, and hung out in the common room...it was nice.
After that I went to knitting club YaY! 2 full hours of knitting with the other girls and guys:) It was the best part of the whole day! I love knitting, it is sooo relaxing, and fun. We just sit at a table together talking about everything, knitting, classes, professor problems...The "adviser" for the club, Dr. Lynn Monahan, is the head of the criminal justice major. I really like talking to her. She is the one who teaches us all how to knit, but it is cool, because most of us are cj majors, so we can talk to her about that stuff. Anyway...we are making a quilt for some shelter somewhere...we don't know the details yet, but we all get to make square patches that we will sew together. It is going to be really weird. Everyone is making different types of patches, different stitches, different colors, so it will look really weird, but cool I think:)
So then I went to dinner, and went up to the gym for the VB game...they won!! YaY So I came back here, and then just sat down in my room, and started to catch up on tv shows that I had taped for the past week. I am just finished now, so I am going to try to get to bed...not really tired, but I have a class at 830 tomorrow morning, so I should get a little sleep...then after that, some more relaxing, and the weekend begins!! YaY! I am going up to eastern to see Peter:) Going to be a great weekend <3
ok, so I am really going to try ot go to sleep now...get a few hours, get a good breakfast with my strawberry sauce, YUMMY, and then off to Ethics...hopefully it will be entertaining enough to keep me awake...then resting, packing, and going to eastern:)
Have a GREAT weekend everyone!

Ok, so got this quiz from Sam...and it is totally useless, just as it says lol So anyway, this week was interesting. Studied almost the whole week for Nature of Science...I had an exam on thurs, and as of tues night I hadn't read anything for it...total of 299 pages that I had fluffed off all semester so far :) YaY for procrastination!!! So got to read all that stuff in ALL my free time :( Didn't leave any time to talk :( But it is over, and now I am free, and can talk again :)
I have like 6 tv shows that are taped on my hard drive that I have to catch up on, and I have a free-reading book that needs to be read, and I have knitting that I have to do :) YaY for being able to do some fun stuff!
So today had been fun. I slept till 10:36...the latest that I think I have ever slept here! YaY Then I took a nice LONG shower, watched a little tv, and went to the cafe for brunch with Bonnie :) We got food, and since it is family weekend we watched all the familys who actually came...fun stuff...so while we were watching we saw that a lot of them had pumpkins, so we checked out the student lounge, and saw a bunch of pumpkins there...you are supposed to paint them, but we just found good ones, and left!! YaY for a criminal justice major stealing a fricken pumpkin (me) !! hehe...So now I have a nice looking pumpkin:)then
Then I braved the rain and went up to the gym to do the girls VB game...I got to do the book finally!!!!!:) It is soooooo much more fun than the Libero tracking:) The girls lost, and it was not the best game in the world, but they tried hard...just didn't work out, so now they are 10-9...
So on the walk back to campus I decided to call my grandparents (mom's side) to wish them a happy anniversary :) Got my gma, and talked for a while, and then talked to my gpa. Last year I called and he forgot!!! So I gave him hell last year, and told him that he had to remember this year....and he FORGOT again!!! So I gave him hell again hehe...sooo sweet of me :)
So now I am going to start on the free reading, resting, knitting and other fun stuff I get to do:)
Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL weekend in the "beautiful" weather!!!!
luv y'all

OK...so the day started out with breakfast! Best meal of the day if you ask me :) Anyway, so I had my usual Egg & Cheese on a toasted English Muffin and orange juice :) Yummy!!!
Then I went on to Scientific Methods...officially the most boring class I have had yet...that is including last years history class! So I walk in, and we actually do something fun...Math!!!! YaY for fun math! ok...so you probably are thinking...omg, what a dork!...well, I love math...so we did graphing stuff, and means, medians, and modes...and then we moved onto standard deviation which is when you have a set of numbers, you find the mean, find the deviance from the mean in the set of numbers, you square the deviance, take the sum of the deviances, divide by the number of sets you have, and then take the root of that number...got that!?? Well my prof got it all right until you got to the division part...he wanted to skip that and go straight to the root part...You Can't Do That!!! So I pointed it out, and he argued with me...really argued...for like 10 min in front of the class before he let me show him how to do it, and then find an example in the book saying that I was right...and he even read the part in the book 5 times before he believed me!! I was like...math is one thing that I can definitely do!! listen to me!!!... So in the end I was right...YaY! and he announced to the class that what had just happened was one of the most embarrassing points in his life!! YaY for me!! hehe...
K, so then I went up to north campus to learn the book for VB...It isn't that bad, and I am doing Libero tonight, so I can watch the scorekeeper to make sure that I understand it right...I hope they win!!
Then onto Nature of Science...where I got back my extra credit essay...full credit...YaY....and my analytical essay topic...approved...YaY...and my essay that was due last week that I wrote in like 30 min (seriously)...90% YaY!!! :) So that was a good class. And he also told us that the sample questions for the test for thurs that he gave us would be the exact ones on the test...there are 12 samples, and only 2 out of 4 on the test, but that is still fricken cool!
Then on to my LAE meeting...fun stuff...got to vote on stuff, and found out that I get a free t-shirt for helping out with homecoming stuff, so I will probably do that depending on when it is. and we are doing a Diabetes walk on the 16th...YaY for community service...makes you feel soooo good when you help people! :)
Then went for a walk...to clear my head...and ended up at the new cafe for dinner. Got a Chicken Cesar Labretti...sooo good! then when I was almost done Bonnie and Mallorie walked in :) so I sat with them, and then Lauren and Alisann walked in, so we all sat together. It was funny though, because Bonnie ordered a Buffalo Chicken Pizza, and they called her name, not her number to say it was ready...only they messed up...she got a barbecue chicken pizza, she didn't care so she started eating it, and then 2 min later they called her number...so she went up and said that she lost her paper with the number on it...and got the other pizza too!! Not fair...I wish that would happen to me...2 pizza's for the price of one!! hehe...so dinner was fun!
Now I am writing this and then going to head up to the gym at half past for the girls game vs Molloy!!! Should be a good game...:)
oh yeah...and funny story to tell about my suite...but it will have to wait till later...got to get ready to go in 5 min...hehe...you will all have to wait!!! hehehehehehehehehe

YaY! back at school after a LONG, but FUN weekend...
ok...so friday I had to get blood taken, and then I had to run errands for my mom, do 3 loads of laundry for myself, was forced to go to minks-to-sinks with dad (but I got games for my suite...LIFE, Sorry, Battleship, Othello, Chess/Checkers) and then taco bell (we HAD to go...even though I had just had breakfast...grrrr), and then I went to the wilton girls vb game...they lost...but I got to sit on the bench like a coach with them and help out (they did better once I started sitting with them!!!! :)...it was cool...and then mom and I went to dinner at Duchess, wall-mart shopping and then home...
Saturday was our church's rummage sale...so I was there 8-3(but I got a new coat...well used, but looks almost new :), and then had to drop off the extra stuff to Goodwill, and then picked up my DVD's from Jess, went to the library to renew my card, and looked at all the new stuff there...it looks really nice!,and then went home and my grandparents came over and we played cards and had dinner (and they brought me over an apple pie...that is sitting in my fridge here right now yummmm!!!!!!)
Today was church, and then shopping (food, and a Yankee T-Shirt!!), and then packed...got winter stuff for school...and I cleaned out my car (vacuumed, washed windows, dusted) and washed it(outside) and fixed the paint, checked the oil, and filled the windshield washer fluid etc...and then mom and I went to go see a new baby that was born 2 weeks ago tomorrow....his name is Justin Thomas Lewis...and I got to hold him for like 30 min! He was a little fussy though because he was hungry, but his mommy fed him and then he was all better....really good for only 13 days old...he was 8 lbs 13 oz when he was born, and then lost 7 oz right after birth...so I bet he was about 10lbs today...soooooo little!I LOVE holding little babies :)
SO now I have been back to school for 6 hours...got all my stuff put away...put the stuff I need to take back home in bags for whenever I go home again...and am getting ready for bed! :) Long weekends like this make me tired! No complaining about this one though...had a great time! Got to do some work/shopping, play some cards, see my family...both real, and church...and got some pie for dessert for the next few days! YaY! for Grandma's who love to bake for me :)
K, well going to turn in now....Guten Nacht!!Auf Wiedersehen! <3

OK, so time for another update :) This week has been CRAZY! I have had sooo much stuff to do, and no time to do it in...but, it is ending well. SO...
Monday...I had class at 1000, and 1300 (quiz in this one), and a presentation to go to at 3...in between I spent ALL of my time studying for an exam that I had Tues at 1000.
Tuesday I had the exam at 1000, and then another class at 1300, and a meeting at 1430 and 1600...and I had to read, read, read in between all that...like over 150 pages worth! and I had a homework rewrite for credit, and current homework...
Wednesday I had 4 classes, 0830, 1000, 1300 and 1800(3 hours) and in between I had to read many many articles, and write an essay on them for thurs...my 1800 class was supposed to go till 2045, but I don't think that my prof knows that and he kept us till 2115!!!grrrrrrr I had a lot of work to do so that was annoying!
Thursday(today) I went to the class I had the exam in and got it back...not too bad, got an 87...the worst grade yet in college(other than the F on the history exam that I am forgetting about!) so I am kind of annoyed about it, but it was actually good...6th highest in the class, and the prof is going to curve...I think...so I should end up with an A :) Then I went to my class at 1300 and we sat there for 20 min..no prof..so we send around a sign in sheet to put under his office door, and decide who will slide it, and our essays that were due under the door, and just as we all get up to leave who walks it...the prof! grrrrrr He thought it was wed, and he went to another classroom for 25 min! We were all sooooo pissed...so after that I went to a meeting, talked to Katie for a while :) and went to knitting...which no one showed up for again...well a few people did, but not the eboard or the adviser :( so that was sad!
So that is my week so far...good now...now I just have dinner, and then I am going to the student center for Build-A-Bear!!!YaY!!!and then I am heading to the gym to watch the VB girls kick Dowlings ass!, and then going home for the weekend :) It is a very good end to a VERY long week!
So I hope everyone had fun weeks! Talk to y'all over the weekend!...from home! :)

OK, so this weekend was great! Went up to see Peter and had a really good time with some excitement...0330 wake-up...pretending to crash a party...late night wal-mart trip...movies...and best of all, weird dreams...FUN STUFF! ;)
So, now I get back into my life here :( Got a "pop" quiz today, a test tomorrow, reading for today, tomorrow and wednesday, and an essay due on thursday...lot of stuff...but, NO CLASSES FRIDAY! :) Thank God for our new President...his Inauguration is friday...So I can either go home thursday or friday. Not sure which yet. I would like to go home thursday, but I have a meeting (that I can miss), knitting club, a build-a-bear thingie (free) and home VB game...so I think I may stay the night and go home friday...or thursday night after the VB game at like 9ish. I will just have to see how the week goes...
Well back to studying for the "pop" quiz I got today, and then for the test, and the essay, and the reading...see if I can get it all done. If I don't...whatever...it isn't the end of the world...and I don't really care!

OK...so a great start to a long day...NOT! So I go to class, and my professor is a frickin ass. He tells us about our exam on Tues which we had no idea that we were having...sure it is on the syllabus, but the syllabus also said that we should be on ch.4 ...we are on 2! So to make things even better the test is happening, and it is on ch. 1-4 still even though we haven't gone over the shit...grrr... Then he goes on to say it will be easy...puts up a few sample questions and we are all like...what the hell is that stuff! So we all argue with him, and nothing gets done...still having the test and still 4 chapters
Then I get back to my suite..hoping to relax, and Bonnie, my suite-mate, is totally sitting in the bathroom crying and sick as hell...:( She is so dizzy and nauseous that she won't get up...just sitting on the bathroom floor and there is nothing I can do. She is too nauseous to get up and walk to health services, and they are too "busy" to come here!...I thought I was going to kill the woman on the phone when I was talking to her..."We have 6 kids here waiting to be helped...all sick too..." I was like...with what!? I fricken stuffy nose...Get your asses over here...! The best she could do was say that we could call the ambulance...YEAH RIGHT! I mean, it isn't like we pay for your services or anything...not like you are supposed to help students who actually need help! Isn't that what doctors/nurses do!?
ok...so fricken annoyed about everything now...I can't wait for knitting later...actually I am going to sit and knit now, forget school work, I need to calm down!
so that was me venting...sorry everyone...just needed to get that out! Hope you all are having a better day than me :) Luv y'all

HEHE...ok, so I was being a good girl and doing my reading homework for Scientific Methods...an EXTREMELY BORING class/book...I seriously feel like I am reading a dictionary when I read it. It is the only book that I have fallen asleep while reading with, and the only that I have actually almost fallen asleep at breakfast while reading! :) So anyway...I was reading...and I got to a part that I thought was funny
"During their lifetime, females can produce a limited number of offspring. The 9-month gestation period for human females means that through the child-bearing years-say, ages 16-46-a woman can produce a maximum of about 30 children. But human males, by mating with more than one female can produce a hypothetically unlimited number of children. From Darwin's principle of sexual selection, Daly and Wilson argue that an individual human male has incentives to mate with many females and produce a large number of offspring. Because this applies to all human males, they compete for female mates, and their competition may take the form of fatal violence. Daly and Wilson (1988, 147-48) present historical homicide statistics from several countries-ranging from 13th-century England to contemporary Miami- to show that males kill males about 100 times more often than females kill females."
So I thought that was interesting, and slightly funny to be in my book...so I hope you all enjoyed it... :) The fun stuff that I get to read for class!
K, well back to reading and then on to my final class of the day...Principles of Criminal Investigation...from 6-845! I love the class :), but hate that it is 3 hours long! :( So back to the books!

It is really weird...and it is only doing it on the comments...whatever...it really doesn't matter, just wondering ;p

OK, so for like the first time since I have been at school I am actually doing work! I have been telling myself that I have to read, and do work...but...well...that hasn't been happening :) So last night and today I have been working...I am sooo proud of myself! Last night I finished up the past 3 weeks reading for my Criminal Procedure 1 class, and for Principles of Criminal Investigation (about 100 pages each). Today so far I have almost finished my Ethics reading/quiz/homework corrections, and then I am going on to read Scientific Methods and Interpersonal Relations (Forensic Psychology) stuff (another 100 pages each). Then I have Nature of Science reading...not looking forward to this one, but I have to read it because I have to write a 3 page (750 word) essay on the stuff...due next Thursday...between all the articles that I have to read for that class, I think about 200-250 pages worth of CRAP! fun fun fun :p
So...my schedule for the day....

OK, so I stole this from one of the people who left the link in Peters comments section :) It is cool...YaY! for me being an Earthy Person....that is what I wanted :) hehe....ok, so if you want to try...have fun!

You're Element is Earth. You like plants and
flowers and have a very natural looking beauty
so you really don't need make up. You are a
very innocent and maybe naive person but it's
only the jerks in this world that take
advantage of you because you are a jewel in
this world of rocks. You have many friends and
they all enjoy you as much as you do them. You
are skilled with your hands and would be able
to last in a more remote home. (please forgive
me if you cannot see the pics. If you go to my
userpage then you can see your result picture
at the bottom)
What's Your Element(girls)? (PICTURES) brought to you by QuizillaSo...I guess I am an innocent and naive person....HA I don't think so...if anyone thinks differently please let me know :) ...so...apparently I can also last in a remote home...ok, so anyone have any suggestions on where I should make my remote home?? Be creative with me... :p
OK, enough fun for one day...now one the dark side of school...WORK :(

OK, so I just got back from the beach clean up community service that I did with LAE, and it was "fun"...really "fun"! Actually is was interesting...the beaches around here...all I can say is "wow, I am never going to walk barefoot or go swimming there"...ok, so maybe not ever, but I will find a good spot...if it weren't for the massive amounts of used condom wrappers, 40's, used shotgun shells, dime bags, syringes, and much, much more it would be a great spot to lay down and relax...really!
Well...it was fun. Got to talk to a bunch of the LAE members, and we had fun talking...we are all CJ majors so it was fun...creating scenarios as we walked...hoped to find a body as we went...pretending to process a crime scene instead of just throwing the crap in the bags...fun stuff! :)
K, well back to the real world of homework, and stuff that needs to get done :( damn...I like the other world better!

OK, so Good Morning everyone! Jess and I got up at 9 so she could go back to school for FUN...ie...HW! She is absolutely crazy about all of her homework! I mean, I care about doing it...sometimes...but she is like"I have to do it" whatever...good for you Jess! :) So now I am up, and I figured that I would do my laundry....but all the washers are filled....at 9:30 on a Sunday! What is wrong with the people in this dorm...don't they know that they are supposed to be sleeping! I am usually the only one up at this time...so now I have to wait till 10...but that is ok, got nothing to do till 1 today...
So last night was FUN! Jess was over...we were supposed to go to the carnival that the school set up...had 4 rides, toilet bowl races, bathtub races, etc...so that was all looking good until she arrived and brought a fricken monsoon with her! So, needless to say, they closed down all the rides (I guess a "little" lightning does that :( So instead we hung out in my room...played cards, watched US Marshals on TNT, and then talked to people online...was fun...but we stayed up a little later that Jess is used to, so we pooped out at around 2-2:30
So now I am all alone again :(...hehe jk...got plenty to do! Gonna do my laundry at 10, take a nice LONG shower...because I can!...get some work done, do a community service beach clean-up with CJ club, and then who knows...probably come back here and talk to people if anyone is on, or be a good student again and do some work!...hehe....right...
Well that is enough for now...maybe a post later to see what I actually did today ;)...and now back into my world of nothingness.............

OK...so I wake up with my alarm this morning at 7:30 for an 8:30 class...and from there I have no idea what happened! I purposely put my alarm away from my bed so I have to get up to turn it off...and I remember doing that, but the next thing I knew I was waking up again and it was 9:10! I couldn't believe it! That is the first time that I have ever missed a class in college...other than for games last year with VB :( I was soo mad at myself, especially because on fridays the prof gives out the take home quiz for the week...so now I have to email him and ask for it because I slept in...I mean...*cough, cough, I am sick...*
So moral of the day for me...don't stay up till 2am talking to people online...Peter & Sonia...but on the other hand...it was soooo much fun last night--you guys know what I am talking about ;)--, and it saved me from having to go to class...Ethics is what it was...BOREING! So, I am annoyed that I missed the class, but extremely happy that it was that class that I missed! :)
So after I got over that ordeal...and for me it is an ordeal...I came home, where I am now. Got to go to a doctor appointment at 2, and then all the grandparents are coming over to go to the Olive Garden for my mommy's birthday (9/15) So that should be fun...dinner with them, and playing cards (cards that I can win at.....Peter!) :) anyway...that about sums up my day...
Oh yeah, and I have an aim sn for when I am at home, so if you want it, im me, and I will let you know :)
Hope everyone has a great day!

OK, so I am feeling sooo much better now! Sorry about that first post....I was sooooo pissed off earlier! So after I wrote before I read my book, and then went to knitting club from 4-6. It was soooo relaxing! Just like I remember when my grandmother first taught me like 10 years ago :) I was surprised to see so many people there, like 7 of us! It was a lot of fun, learning to knit, and then to pearl...if anyone wants to learn I can teach you all later...anyone can do it...even guys! It is so nice to just sit down with a few people and knit...like meditating, it is relaxing and peaceful in a way...and you get to make things! Nothing too complicated for a while, but still...maybe a small scarf can come out of what I started today :)
Well that is about it for now...just thought I would end the day on a happy and fun note...pick a note any note(do re mi fa sol la ti do) hehe...see good mood!
K, well now going to rest and probably go to bed early...sleep is a wonderful thing!

Hey Everyone...ok, so after being bugged from MANY people about why I don't have a LJ I decided that I would give in...:)
so....today has been a FUN day...Started out with 7am wake up from the damn dumpster people emptying it out (the dumpster is approximately 100 ft from my window..grrrrrrrrr) Anyway, not annoyed about it, just fricken pissed! I didn't have class till 10! So the day started off well...went to class, got bored to death by my prof. He is Korean, and likes to complain about everything that the school does wrong, and normally that would be funny as hell, except for the fact that you can't understand a word that he says! Everyone just sits there completely confused...I sure am going to learn a lot in that class! After that it started to pour, and I mean pour, I felt like I was going swimming! The 1 minute walk back to my room was the longest ever...thank God for living in Bethel! (I never thought I would ever say that about my shitty dorm!) Then I had class again...Nature of Science...wtf does that mean! My prof sure has no idea. We talked, or I should say he talked, about discovery and invention and what the two words meant for 45 fricken minutes, and then we moved onto hurricane Katrina!...fun fun fun!
So now I am writing this just before I pass out for a while...I think I will go to the knitting club meeting today at 4. Knitting is fun, and maybe it will make me relax for a while...
So...fun first post, I know! Maybe I will have a better one for later
